Scott A. Isdaner, Named an ACCREDITED ESTATE PLANNER® Designee by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils

Scott A. Isdaner has recently been certified as an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designee by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC).

Scott A. Isdaner, CPA, JD is the Managing Member of Isdaner & Company, LLC of Bala Cynwyd, PA. Scott’s focus is in the tax area and he is involved in all aspects of tax planning for a diverse client base with emphasis on individual, partnerships, estate and trust, non-profit, and “S” corporation issues. Scott has over three decades of experience in the tax area.

He is a frequent speaker about tax issues at business and professional organizations and has been quoted numerous times in news and business publications. Scott is involved in many professional organizations including the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council, American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. In addition, he is active in many community non-profits: Golden Slipper Club & Charities, Kaiserman Jewish Community Center, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.

The Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designation is a graduate-level, multi-disciplinary specialization in estate planning, obtained in addition to already recognized professional credentials within the various disciplines of estate planning.  The AEP® designation is available to actively practicing attorneys (JD) and Certified Public Accountants (CPA); or those currently designated as a Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®); Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®); Certified Financial Planner (CFP®); Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA); Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®); Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®); Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG); or Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA).

It is awarded by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils to recognize estate planning professionals who meet stringent requirements of experience, knowledge, education, professional reputation, and character. The NAEPC is a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated local estate planning councils focused on establishing and monitoring the highest professional and educational standards.  NAEPC fosters public awareness of the quality services rendered by professionals who meet these standards.
