Mike Troped is a partner and co-chair of the Accounting and Auditing group at Isdaner & Company. He specializes in overseeing all aspects of audit and accounting engagements for the firm’s small to medium-sized, closely-held companies in a variety of industries including professional services, distribution, manufacturing, real estate, not for profit and the governmental sectors.
Prior to joining Isdaner & Company in 1998, Mike practiced with a national accounting and consulting firm. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA from Temple University in Philadelphia.
Mike is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Temple University’s Fox School of Business and Management. He has lectured on various accounting and tax topics and also serves as a staff trainer for the firm’s in-house professional development program.
Active in the community, Mike has served on the boards of the Philadelphia Boys and Girls Clubs as well as local involvement as a youth sports coach and board member for Lower Merion Little League, Main Line Girls Basketball and various Home and School Associations.
A member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), Mike served as chairman of the Young CPA Committee and as a member of the Executive Committee for the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the PICPA. He has also served on the PICPA’s Cooperation with the Bar and Community Involvement committees.
